Attendance & cancellations
Lateness & late cancellations
You must be on the pitch, shoes on, warmed up and ready to play exactly on the hour. If you’re not, it’s a strike. Even 1 minute late counts as a strike.
Late cancellations also earn a strike:
- Evening sessions: cancelling after 6pm on the day.
- Weekend sessions: cancelling after 6pm the night before — Friday for Saturday, Saturday for Sunday.
- Any session: cancelling within two hours of the start.
- First strike: no ban — everyone makes a mistake.
- Second strike or more: a two-week ban from the date of the incident.
No-shows
- First no-show: one-month ban.
- Second no-show: possible permanent ban.
Match rules
Fair play
- Be honest. Don’t cheat.
- Compete without aggression. No arguing. Keep the game flowing and play in good spirit.
- No slide tackles.
Goalkeepers
- 5-a-side: rush goalkeepers. 6-a-side: goalkeepers stay in their area; coming out gives away an indirect free kick.
- Goalkeepers can’t shoot or cross the halfway mark.
- After a goal, play restarts from the goalkeeper.
- Pass-backs are allowed. The goalkeeper can use their hands.
Fouls & handballs
- A called foul is a foul. No questions asked. If the fouled team plays on, advantage is played.
- Any hand or arm contact is a free kick, even if accidental or unavoidable. The responsible player should call it. If another player calls it and it’s disputed, use a drop ball.
Restarts & disputes
- All restarts are indirect. Keep a two-metre distance from dead balls, including corners and free kicks.
- No throw-ins. Play the ball in from the ground.
- Disputed throw-ins or ball-over-line decisions: use a drop ball instead of arguing. If a ball-over-line dispute involves a goal, resolve it with a penalty.
